Covid-19 Lifted Restrictions Decisions of the Council of Ministers

The Cyprus government has announced the lifting of restrictions allowing free movement and opening of restaurants, bars and shops all over the island as of May 10th.

However movement restrictions apply between 23:00 until 05:00, except in the following cases:

  • Going to a medical centre or a hospital or a pharmacy or a veterinarian for medical emergencies

The following restrictions will remain in place:

  • Public gatherings are limited to 10 people.
  • Some entertainment businesses such as nightclubs remain closed.
  • Face masks are mandatory on public transport and in all outdoor public spaces, except while exercising, in addition to all indoor public spaces.
