8th August 2013Kanika Group is delighted to have contributed to the promotion of Cyprus as a tourism and business destination at a major event in China. At the initiative of the Chinese embassy in Nicosia, Cyprus was invited to showcase its culture and culinary specialities in China in 2012. Under the auspices of the Cyprus Embassy in Beijing and our Ambassador there, Ms Ioanna Malliotis, Kanika supported the Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) and acted as a major sponsor for a prestigious five-day event.
Alongside the traditional folk dancers and singers, Kanika Hotels Executive Chef Antonis Nicolaou, Executive Pastry Chef Marianna Makrommali and Chef Fragkesko Mastrou literally stole the show with their traditional, mouth-watering, Cypriot dishes.
