After a full week of intensive hands-on training by three chefs and one service manager from the Swiss Education Group, Kanika’s culinary team of 60 chefs prepared an afternoon buffet to demonstrate their polished skills to the public.
The event was held on 7 February 2015 at the Elias Beach Hotel in Limassol and created a sweet and savoury buzz in the hotel lobby. Limassolians and guests did not miss this opportunity to enjoy a superb display of finger foods and desserts along with coffee and tea, all for the special price of €10 per person. A number of distinguished guests included a representative of the Swiss Embassy in Cyprus.
This most recent programme is an example of regular culinary and service training programmes organized within the framework of Kanika’s agreement with the Hospitality and Culinary Schools of the Swiss Education Group, Switzerland various. Earlier, a group of Kanika’s restaurant managers and chefs had attended a more comprehensive 2-week training in Switzerland. A full calendar of in-house and overseas training programmes demonstrates Kanika’s emphasis on quality and variety in all their hotel restaurants.
