Olympic Lagoon Resort in Agia Napa voted No.1 in the category of ‘Best for Weddings & Honeymoons’

A survey conducted by Travel Weekly magazine in the UK revealed that Kanika’s hotel in Agia Napa, the Olympic Lagoon Resort was voted No.1 in the category of ‘Best for Weddings & Honeymoons’ around the world.

The survey, which was conducted in September 2014, was open to all UK travel agents, aiming to identify the Top Ten most popular destinations among UK holidaymakers, from the bigger pool of previously compiled Top 100 hotels in various categories.
The Olympic Lagoon Resort concept satisfies the demand for an upmarket all-inclusive holiday with emphasis on superior gastronomy, full-scale activities and entertainment programs for all ages, alongside a choice of luxurious accommodation options. Another special feature is the ‘hotel-within-a-hotel’ concept providing exclusive adults-only accommodation, pools and entertainment, which is clearly appreciated by wedding couples and honeymooners. A second Olympic Lagoon Resort will be opening in Paphos in June 2015, and there are plans for international expansion in the future.

Kanika Hotels’ Group Hotel Manager Christos Pericou pointed out: “It is very rewarding indeed to be voted No. 1 by the UK market, our main market, as the preferred destination in this demanding category.”
